My favorite hair products

Today I want to write about my favorite hair products. My hair is the one constant in my life. It's the one thing I take great care of and have always received compliments on. I will say the number one tip I have is to put as little heat on it as possible. I know that may be difficult for some of you, especially if you take showers in the morning before heading to work. I purposely switched my routine to take my showers at night so that my hair can air dry. With that said, it doesn't matter if I air dry or blow dry my hair, it still needs some maintenance before I can walk out the door.
**Disclaimer: Most days I just throw my hair in a ponytail or bun and go on about my day. I leave myself very little time to get ready in the mornings because I like to hit the snooze button way too much! I'm also the type of girl that doesn't like to spend an hour getting ready. That's why these products are great because I can just toss them in and go!
My favorite leave-in hair masque is Davroe Hair Wellness Luxe leave-in masque. It's made with natural plant and flower extracts that give it a really nice smell. It's not greasy like some other leave-in products and it goes on real smooth. My favorite part is you can use this on wet or dry hair! I mostly use it when my hair is damp, but I've also used it when my dry hair needed some extra moisture. That is why it's made it in my list of favorite hair products. Extra Note: You can put this on before swimming and it's supposed to eliminate the "green coloring" that chlorine gives off. I haven't tried this yet but I'm curious to see if this works!
Easy Tiger smoothing balm is great to use before straightening your hair. As previously stated, I don't like putting much heat on my hair, but sometimes a girl just needs her straightener. I only need a dime-size drop to apply it throughout my hair. It doesn't take much and it doesn't leave any oily residue behind. Briogeo Rosarco blow dry perfection & heat protectant creme is another one I use. I always seem to alternate between these two and I'm not sure why. As far as ingredients, I have to say that I prefer Briogeo Rosarco because there are no sulfates, silicone or parabens! This also doesn't take much to apply and is very light-weight.
Let's face it. There are days when we are all about the hustle and have no time for a shower. For those days, I like to use dry shampoo. Whoever thought of this is brilliant, by the way! My favorite dry shampoo to use is Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo. I've tried a couple of other dry shampoos in the past and they either made my hair more greasy or flat. Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo allows me to keep the texture while giving me a fresh, blown dry look.
In case you haven't been able to tell, I'm a girl who loves to moisturize my hair! This last product is no exception. I received it in my Birchbox a couple months back and have really enjoyed it's benefits. I apply Beauty Protector Protect & Oil once my hair is styled and ready to go. I just use a couple of drops, rub my hands together, and run them through the ends of my hair. This is to give one more protective, and moisturized layer while also keeping my style in place. Before I tried this, I was (and still am) a huge fan of Josie Maran's 100% Pure Argan Oil. I'm a sucker for her products, but this is by far my favorite. It lasts forever and can be used in so many ways - hair, nails, face, decollete, etc.
If you try out any of these products, please let me know what you think! Hopefully you will find yourself with a new favorite :)

Amanda
